A land with enormous natural wealth allow to discover places where the vine delivers high expression grapes. The SINGULAR range brings together small productions in search of precise wines that convey the character of this Atlantic vineyard.

The CERRO 3 Merlot plot is planted on a very steep hillside overlooking the sea, with difficult access and surrounded by native forest.

The soil is composed of syenitic and metamorphic rock, where a high concentration of quartzite (white quartz) stands out, forcing the roots of the vines to explore in depth searching for water and nutrients. An extreme scenario that results in this wine of unique expression.

The grapes from this plot offer a unique balance between fruit, tannins and acidity. The harvest is early since the stone soil where it is planted is relatively warm. Winemaking process is traditional, in stainless steel tanks, and fermentation takes place at 26 degrees.

Once the wine is pressed, it is sent to French oak barrels, where it remains for at least a year before being bottled.
