Las Espinas: Single Vineyard. These are varietal wines, made with grapes produced at just one vineyard. In this line, the wines represent the peculiar characteristics of climate and soil of the specific location of the vineyard and which make them dier from the wines from other regions.
Tasting notes:
Intense red color. Aroma of red fruits, cassis, with tobacco and smoke notes. Rounded mouth with refreshing acidity. Medium volume, with marked tannins. Very long finish.
Preparation:
Manual selection of grapes berry by berry. Fermentation at 25 °C, with 2 pump-overs and 1 pigeage a day. Maceration: 12 days. Aging, 8 months in new French oak barrels.
